About Céline Roland
I opened my first store in Riedisheim in 2013, after ten years working in other people's shops. The motivation was simple: I felt that glasses were being sold the way you sell bread — quickly, out of habit, without really looking at the face in front of you. I wanted to slow things down.
Five years after opening my first store in Riedisheim, I decided to create my website. Many of you reached out to me via social media to find the pair of glasses that suits you! To better meet your expectations, I decided to embark on a new adventure: www.celine-opticien-lunetier.fr
Today, my work comes down to three things: seeing correctly (the technical side, visual health), giving the right advice (the style side, facial morphology, the client's lifestyle), and championing a selection of designers I genuinely love to wear myself.
I love frames that have character without overdoing it. A great pair doesn't jump out at you — it ends up looking like the person wearing it, like a well-chosen watch or a perfect pair of shoes.
